It is under construction right now; when it is completed it will have pictures of the different styles and colors being offered.

TQ has the Tamiya spacer in stock. Any 12 ball spur will work.

Hi Everybody,
I am new to F1. I just want to know if any manufacturers make the Honda RA108 body.

Thanks.

No one has issued a body set for that chassis, sorry.

Most of the various builds are only a small number of body types that are painted to resemble the full size cars. The nearest to an RA108 will be the 3Racing F109 body and wings as the body includes the extra side aero pieces and the wings are a similar shape to the RA108.

You were right, they had ONE in stock, and I got it! Thanks. Tower has them on backorder.

What size balls do I need? Wait, that sounded BAD!

For you guys that balance the rear pod, do you do it with pins or a scale? If you use a scale is a .6 gram difference ok or should I clean the heavy side a little better?

3Racing makes the same type of part in white, and if you look, the old HPI purple spurs have the adapter included in the package. Sometimes hobby shops will have them on the shelf NOS or even in the discount bin.

Interesting. In the very helpfull article RCformula1 posted here it states:

"Tamiya use a proprietory gear pitch they call "0.04". It is interchangeable with the industry standard 64 pitch, so you can buy a 64 pitch pinion and use it with a Tamiya spur for example."

Is this correct? I thought the Mod 04 pitch was unique and proprietary (as stated). A 64 pitch pinion will work with the stock F104v2? Anybody do this?

It will work but they are not exactly the same. The 64p pinion will cause the .04mod spur to wear out prematurely.
