What body would be closest to mimicking the C31?
Probably the F60, There is that platypus nose body floating around, but the F60 would be the easiast

Would anyone be willing to trade a Tamiya Ferrari f60 body/wing set for the F104 for a complete Tamiya M-body/wing set for the F103?

Thanks

I do have an F104 ver. 1 I am selling with a brand new in bag F60 body set. Finished 4th in the 20111/2012 UF1 California Winter Series. Add your electronics and BP's Sauber decals and you will have a ready to roll competitive F1 car that oh by the way, will be beautiful too.

BP - I know a certain South of the Border F1 fan that will for sure get the Sauber decals so he can run Mr. Perez's colors in the upcoming UF1 Winter Series. On the Williams FW34, does it come with "crash damage" decals for Pastor's car ?

I think I know that guy you are talking about.
No crash damage on Maldonado, but the Perez sheet has a target for the rear wing

I just got this one, before I even knew the decals will be soon available.

Beware you are only getting the lexan parts. Unless you already have a Tamiya F104 you can use all the accessories, you may end up buying another Tamiya body just to build this. There are no front or rear wings. The mirrors, side fins and barge boards look like the Tamiya McLaren. The F1 mount camera and nose fins look like 3-Racing Sakura. If you decide to just buy the Tamiya wings separate, they do not come with the screws to put them together. Those only come with the complete body set. And finally, F1 Paint Lab decal sheets are great for the liveries but do not have the base body items like the air intake sticker, side pod intake stickers, exhaust or the steering wheel. That $ 40.00 body set is going to cost over $ 100.00 before you even lay the first coat of paint.

BP Shadow, have you considered any Indycar sets, maybe starting in mid 80's? I'd go for a Pennzoil, Valvoline, or Player's car.

If you can find me another 24 hours everyday to work, I will do the whole Indycar grid. Seriously though, I would love to do the Indycar stuff because I went to a lot of CART races when I was younger and I am a fan.
I would do custom stuff, but it doesn't come cheap. It's the amount of time that it takes to collect all the logos, then scale and arrange them.

I can understand how time consuming it must be. I was born and raised in Indy, and was a huge CART fan.

I would love some Players stickers. Painted all my cars in the colors but a players logo on the hood and Players down the side would be cool.

I still have my Dahms Cart shell from the late 90's painted up in players paint scheme,

They still look cool

Favourate racetrack memory of the 80's growing up, being in the race tent with Rick Mears, Roger Penske, Paul Tracy and Emerson Fittipaldi at Gold coast indy (93 or 94, probably 93 as Rick Mears had just retired)

Beth.
