The kit comes with the standard 93T/104T spurs.
Yes, they are Tamiya, part number 54203. I used a carbon fiber sticker sheet from F1 Paintlabs in the recesses and on top of the servo saver.

I like the way it looks without the brace, but I’ll still wait to try it at the track.
I measured the width of the rear pods (both aluminum):
F104-V2 = 60mm
F104 = 60mm
They're both same width (ID) measured at the location the motor mounts to (diff side) to directly across, opposite side. I hope that makes sense.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for those numbers, if there is the same space, SP motor should fit V2. But from the attached picture You can see that it is tight.
And watching You pictures I must say I like the V2 design. It looks pure and simple (especially with all those hop-ups). Now I'm curious how it handles at the track...

Here is some FGX pics ive posted up in another thread, Its taken me some time to complete the build, finally sealed leaky diff, then after I finished I fried the ESC. My fault got distracted and... any way got the new Edge back from Novak, did some fine tuning on motor, gearing, suspension and tires.
So far I have found that the Pit tires w/air gap (thinner insert) gives lower speed traction but will bend over and break lose under hard cornering. stock springs will bottom out and lift front tire. trying some harder sway bar soft spring set ups. works better so far. and running full insert. will test this today.
It feels way faster than box stock, we shall see tomorrow at UF1 San Camarino

he did a good job with the flat bottom. Tell him to fold the sides down to make a skirt though, the only reason race cars dont have skirts is cause they are banned
#5065
The sides are actually folded down (black paint). He might try brushes next time so side skirts can rub the track.

the rear pod isnt, which is the most important part. Compare it to the skirts on my pod
his plastic seems thin enough that if the leading edge is smooth he can let it rub the track no problem.

Had major issues at Camarillo again. got hit during practice, had to withdraw. Car was pretty good until the hit. Today I found the front arm was pushed/tweeked forward approx 1 or 2 mm, chassis tweek about 1 to 2 mm, and the right front wheel bearings damaged. The rear diff has a very slight hitch, cant feel it with wheels attached. I don't think this is anything to worry about. All minor but add up to seriously affects handling on these cars.
