Hey, thanks Champ, car has been e z to drive right out of the box on asphalt and now carpet.
And how bout you on pace to win it on rubber? Whoa.
We're all lucky you aint choosin foams AND F103.
That'd pretty much be game over but you've been there and done that.
And by the way, thanks for choosing foam and F104 instead of F103 at the Regionals.

They are the foam inserts after my rubber tires caught fire Nah, they are just foams with full sauce before the heats. Yes full sauce on fronts too by the 3rd A Main
That's how we roll in the UF1

Dig that first shot, the F60 on rubber and the 103 Renault/Tamiya on foam are my 2 rides front and center.
The 104 F60 on rubber couldn't even catch a cold let alone keep up with the foam cars, and Mike's F10 on foam was a bullet all day.
The 104 on rubber did handle very well though, just was a second a lap too slow.
Moral to the story, wanna go really fast on carpet? Better stick to your best car and run it on foams.
Next time for sure!

Has anyone (track) tried to pull off 1:1 style F1 qualifying?
I was thinking about a way to do it but worry that guys would
gear up and tire up for a fast qualifying hot lap and tame things down for the main.
I would guess you could lock folks into whatever gearing/tires they used for the hot lap. Or average out their top three laps?
Might be fun to try one weekend at a club race.
Another problem is what to do with heats. The slow guys (who need the most track time) would be shut out after 1st q.round.
