haven't seen one of those, but
Tamiya are coming out with a new Wolf WR1 that with proper decals and a paint job could maybe pass for a BT46

I pm'ed Mike about making a Lipo friendly-er top deck for the 104.
He said they were doing some testing so... Maybe soon?

I don't like grinding on the rear of the deck as it adds a bit of flex to the shock post and the wires end up too close to the shock plate.

The 109 is a smoking deal. I don't know too much about the tech car though.

Damn... I wish I knew mike was working on an HPI F10 conversion... I may have gotten that instead of my 104....

Wider selection I'd functional rubber tires AND the ability to run mini lipo and the sexier F104 bodies... Damn

how does the front wing work with the F104 bodies? Since you can't use the Tamiya front wing...

An I guess we're SOL on 2009/10 bodywork unless HPI releases some... Can't use the Tamiya F60 wingset...

Like anything else aftermarket support will help new sales. This is where the 104 has an advantage right now.

With Mike's chassis getting the ball rolling for the hpi car I would think more than a few of us are tossing around the idea of picking up this car.
New cars sales WILL get noticed on hpi's end.Remember.... hpi kitted a f1 car in the past and although it was a very nice car ( I still look for them on ebay) it was sort of a sales flop. I am sure they will count the beans (once we start buying more f1 cars in the usa) and see that there is some $$ to be made with the lids.

As soon as you hpi folks get your chassis kits in can you post the overall weight of the car (2s full pack)?
