Congrats to my 14 year old daughter for being the 2015 Tamiya Asia Cup (Philippines) Champion.

Her first time to race in this category, winning 10 out of 14 races, using a basic F103 (with rubber tires).

With a 21.5 and 2s shorty, you can use nearly any esc. I have a Novak Edge 2s in one and a Speed Passion Stock Club Race in another.

Any lipo will work, but the ESC may not have low voltage cutoff. If not, don't run a silver can motor more than 15 minutes. You will have to judge by time as there is no protection. Else, get a new ESC with lipo cutoff.

Thank you guys for taking the time.

And i'm just going to use the timer on my transmitter.

News from Fenix

Mistral
A whole new project, with a clear target, keep the COG (center of gravity) as low as possible with a super light car.
With 2.5mm carbon fibre quasi isotropic chassis the new Mistral can carry the battery in the 3 different position:
In line - Cross chassis rearward - Cross chassis forward ; with a difference of 10mm between the 2 cross positions, which we found to be a valuable tuning help.
Car sports also a fully new developed motor mount, with the motor screws in the lower side, doing so we were able to put the motor in the lowest position as possible.
In the central area, where the battery is usually located there are selected areas where will be possible install the ballast below the battery, so if using “slim shorty lipo” car can gain some extra advantage of an ultra low COG.
The front is made with carbon fibre lower arm which are tuneable in term of rigidity and stiffness, while camber and caster are independently adjustable between left and right.
As extra bonus, all the aluminium posts are genuine Tuning Haus
Car will be available as a complete kit and as conversion kit for Suzuka users.

Hi guys, just got my first F1. Sorry if this is a dumb question but what damper lubes are available? I can see that CRC makes some but are there others? What I really want to know though is if diff oils can be used or if they are the same thing?

Default vintage F1 bodies

I love the vintage F1 bodies and scale look, but I'm stuck running the narrow F104 at the local races. Hence the bigger/narrow wheels and wide front wings. 2 I've done so far:

McLaren MP4/5b. Added mirrors.

Williams FW14b preseason carbon Exoto variant. This one was tough laying down the carpet tape for carbon under the entire body. The yellow carbon hood was cut out, painted and glued back on. Added padded headrest, antenna, mirrors, and windscreen. Blue wheelnuts on the right. Red on the left. The wide front wing is a standard 2012 wing dremeled with added lexan sides. Looking at the pictures now, I'll have the paint the back of the lexan black. I also added Exotek adjustable front steering with this build. Tekin RS ESC, ORCA 21.5 motor, Sanox low digital servo, Pit tires. White goodyear decals on their way to complete the look.

Next up, Sauber C12.
