My Hudy pancar station works fine with my Serpent. I found some bearings that fit into the bearing holders. It was a tight squeeze, and I can get them out now. I have an extra set of holders for my 12 scale bearings. I just swap out the holders depending on what car I run. I also use an extra bearing on the axel as a spacer to allow the wheel nut to be tightened on.

I think he is using 8x5 bearings.
Planning on doing the same for my F1.

Taking a vote here. Picked up a F103 Tyrrell six wheeler kit. Tempted to build it as-is OR bolt the front suspension to one of my existing F104 chassis.

It's not meant to be competitive but is the rear pod setup on my F104X1 or V2 better than the F103 rear setup? I'm kinda curious to see how a link rear suspension will work with 4 tiny wheels steering.

Too bad there's no class this car can run in and spare parts are hard to come by. I guess those go hand in hand.

I made the mod with my F104V2, worked fine on foam tires.

I've been toying around with making a six wheeler too. I think others may have used 1/12 scale front tires and if I use my HPI Super F1 as a base, I can use pan car tires in the back. I'm sure it won't be super competitive but with all the foam tire compounds available you should be able to make it somewhat stable and drivable at high speeds. I'm thinking there should be some sort of mechanism for a front suspension to make sure all six wheels sit flat.

The F2012 front wing in any color has to be the worst front wing ever. One run and its sagging on both ends. What is everyone using to stiffen it up?

They're almost certainly Pit Shimizu tyres. Here's one place you can find them:
http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ...?s_maker_id=49

The decals are separate and quite likely the F1 Paintlab ones (which are very good):
