Had enough of the Ferrari body and painted the Tyrell 023 body that came with the F104w GP Edition. Kimi is sleeping in it right now

Hi guys,
Whats the best way to mount the sides to the main body on a tamiya f104? The screws seem kinda dumb but I guess construction glue or silicone would be bad for the paint.
Also, how good would lexan paint stick to the wings?
Thx

Shoegoo will not hurt the paint. This is my experience with Tamiya and LRP lexan colours.

The wing plastic is different. On Tamiya wings the Lexan colour will just create a layer that you can easily scrub off with your fingernail. So I would not recommend lexancolours for a car you race.
Vinylfilm or coloured tape are the best solutions for wings in my eyes as they can take some beating.

Lol, and the one thing I dont have laying around is shoegoo... ah well, off to ebay then. Anybody know a shop with various colours of vinyl sheets and maybe shoegoo in Europe?

eBay is your friend on all fronts there, really just a matter of how quickly you need the items.

Hk-modellbau.de has shoegoo.
The-border.nl has stickers. And maybe also shoegoo

Look's awesome good job. I really started to appreciate the old school body's I think in someway the look better than the new ones.

Does anybody know where to buy the Street Jam F01? I've been checking everywhere, nothing on ebay either, integy has been out on stock for the past few months.

Just curious if anyone knows of an online shop that has them and will ship to the U.S. Or better yet a U.S. shop thats selling them. I've exhausted my efforts.

They are out everywhere. I heard they underestimated demand.

I got mine from rc-art.net

I'm the jerk that picked up the last Street Jam on eBay... (luckily had an eBay coupon)

It took me a while to navigate rc-art, but i eventually found that they are sold out as well.

I saw the one on ebay a month or so ago, but I thought $350 was a little steep. I guess that's the price you pay when you have the only one in existence, lol.

Oh well, hopefully they get more out soon, I'll just keep checking the sites every few days.
Thanks guys.

I paid ~$285 after the ebay coupon. RC Art I think was selling it for ~$245 shipped.
