I'm watching F1 practice on my DVR right now and there is a commercial for a nitro R/C F1 car. The website on the commercial is...

http://www.buildRB7.com

I clicked the link and it redirected me to www.model-space.com. The kit is described as 1:7 scale. Here is some info from their webpage.

25 months to buy a car that costs that much....no thanks.

Your upper links are angled in at the front and wider at the pod, this will give you rear steering, so making it unstable as any bump on the track will cause the rear end to steer, and when cornering the rear axle turning will add more rear wheel steering. If you rock the chassis from side to side you should see the rear axle steering slightly, that's enough to upset the rear of the chassis.

The fix is to make sure the upper links are parallel when looked from above, so as the rear suspension moves from side to side the rear axle is kept straight. If the upper links are level at normal ride height as well you should have no rear steering effects. If the links are angled down towards the front when the chassis rolls in a corner the rear end will turn into the corner, making the rear end more stable, just like giving some toe in on the outside wheel.

Here in Belgium they did the same thing but with a different amount of orders.
The car was spread up to 100 weeks with a cost of 10€ per week, but this can be bought in your local bookstore or you could have signed up to get the parts delivered at home.
Several cars are already up for sale.

Question for you guys who run the TCS tires on carpet. Do you need to CA the sidewalls of the tires to keep from traction rolling? At IIC last year a lot of people were doing that with the Pardus tires but this year they are going with the TCS (Pit Shimizu) tires.
