Can always use Pardus tires, they are cheap and so far are pretty good this year.
I think a tire limit is the solution.
We could have two types of tire options too - pardus and rude (both premount)
Premount sounds like the right answer if everyone ran f104 type wheel configs.
Thanks for the input. Please keep it coming.

Might want to divide up the drivers stand into equally spaced sections and have the teams assigned a position, maybe allow them to pick based on their qualifying order. Also set up a protocol for entering and leaving the stand (once you leave it, new team member must return, only enter from side, front etc...).

I know it would annoy me to have drivers going up and down the stand while trying to concentrate on my own car, last thing you need is a broken car cause some guy elbows you or blocks your vision while running on the drivers stand.

Also use a pit lane so all cars entering and exciting the track must do so from that designated location.

Just wanted to post a couple of pictures of my new F1.

It's a Caterham CT3, which placed last in this year's real F1 competition. But I guess that means that there is no pressure on me when I'm racing it

It's a Tamiya Ferrari 2012 body, with decals from PaintLab.

I must say that I think it is way too complicated to assemble and paint this body. Especially if you want to race it. I will probably be rather nervous about it falling apart if I hit something.

But as a shelf body I think it looks Ace!

Nice I like it! Good job with that body. Its tough convincing yourself to race a fresh shell but so far F1 bodies seem to hold up better then all others. Just race it!

Great looking body. Don't worry, these F1 bodies are very durable- way more than a TC. I'd race It! But not with that wing- save it for the shelf and throw something different on the front.

Thanks for your comments.

I will probably run it, but it has to wait until summer where the tracks are a bit friendlier to the cars

The green is a Tamiya spray I found at my local hobby shop called PS17 Metallic Green.

Merry x-mas

Peter

Default F104W Chassis

Can anyone tell what I'm doing wrong? I just can't seem to get the battery to fit right.

You have to grind the speedo mounts when running a full size battery. Sucks I know.
