Bravo for building something different. If you can, post some photos of your development process, many people would be interested in seeing it.

And check the vintage F1 website with photos of the buildup.

Some years ago I produced a few different 1/8 scale bodies, primarily because that was the scale I was most interested in. There was never much demand for them on a commercial level because most people involved in 1/8 are just after pure performance rather than nostalgic appeal. Having said that I had a lot of very happy customers, which I feel very happy about. The McLaren (M8A and M8F), Chapparal, and Porsche 917 are not copies of anything but the original full size car themselves. I did sell some Frewer bodies as well which he no longer produced (he is located close to me), but these bodies you see here were nothing to do with him at all except that he supplies material to me due to his better buying power. More recently I have become interested in 1/10 cars so decided to do some more bodies for these. I've started with a body that I've wanted to do for ages, which is the Lola T70. Also I've done a 1/10 version of the classic Tamiya Lola T333 (although I'm not offering this for sale at this stage). In the works now is a 1/10 Porsche 917 with full undercut detailing like the T70, and also another McLaren M8A. As you see I'm only interested in doing things that are different from what others offer, and these are the cars that I love also. Regarding the prices on the products - I'm not set up for high volume production so the price needs to be higher to make it worthwhile. Anyone that has vacuum formed complex parts in polycarbonate will know that it's a process that is not as easy as the internet would have you believe! Unfortunately this is just a reality of niche product production. Best Regards, Bruce

I just picked up a Brushless Castle 1406 5700kv Motor. My speed controller has ABC on it and the motor has wires BLK,RED,WHT, so how do I know what is what?

Help please.

For sensorless motors it doesn't matter. If the motor spins the wrong direction simply switch any two of the wires and it will spin the other way.

I figure most here don't venture down to the Texas region thread very often, so I figured I'd post this here too. It has F1 (the best class) content, and I guess it's appropriate to post in this thread as well.

It's the race from last weekend, Round 2 of 4 in the Texas Electric On-Road Series. We'll be running 2 carpet tracks and 2 asphalt tracks with 1 throwout.

Seriously great times! Enjoy.

Here are some pictures of my second sauber body, this one is for the track, the first one is for display.
Instead of paiting the spoilers i used some vinyl sheets, they look great and it takes less time

Spoilers done with vinyl sheets, they look great.

WOW! The footage, editing and music came out great! Makes me want to race at MHS even more than I already do.
