Has anyone ran one of these step nose bodies on an F1R?

Do they fit well? Hows the quality?

A friend of mine ran it on his VII. It came with a lexan flaw in one of the pontoons. Also, the rear wing was extremely fragile.

I have one. Takes a lot of work to make it fit right and I mean getting it so it doesn't sit so high.

I have the weight, but don't use it because my car is balanced on balance pins without the weight. If I put it on it would add weight to that side correct.

Yes, but the thing is the weight is on the pod itself. If you have your car on pins (total car weight), it may be balanced, but is the pod balanced as well? I honestly have not checked, but I would assume the pod is better balanced. I put it on my car and it drove better, and felt better balanced handling wise.

Yes that is what I am looking for, a more consistent feel for the car from left to right & on and off the throttle.
