I'm looking to buy an FGX, I'm a little concerned on how long the car will be supported. I've noticed some hop up parts are already out of stock. Any idea on this?

Also, could anyone recommend the cheapest electronics set up that I'll be able to race with? Looking mostly for Brushless, long battery life. I think 21.5T brushless is the class? Not to sure on this stuff. Looking for a Motor, ESC, battery, and charger recommendation.
We have all of the hopup parts available for sale for the FGX at
f1paintlab.mybigcommerce.com
Exotek makes a whole group of parts as well that are great looking, enhance the performance, as well as the durability. We also stock those as well.
As far as electronics I would look at Speed Passion or the Just Stock ESC and Turnigy motor from hobby wing and hobby king respectively.
If you plan on fully hopping up the car you might want to skip the kit and build from hopups, it won't necessarily be cheaper, but you will save a little bit over buying a full kit and then replacing everything

Does anyone have a good setup for a TOP Rebel F1 with a standard Tamiya F104 front end or even better an EXOTEK front end?

Thanks! That was a pretty cool video. I was expecting a demo derby, but suprisingly everyone seemed on pace and lots of examples of sportsmanship in their driving.

Crazy Itialians starting a 32 car F1 field with no marshalls And ending up really only using what appears to be just two!

Good stuff. Looked like a lot of fun.

Hmm, I don't think I'll be competitive enough to skip the kit. I'd rather buy a few parts that make the biggest difference. I've heard of low front end grip, and the need for some better bearings in the drive-train.

I have another question, will this kit be able to fit some of the more life-like bodies? I really don't care what year of f1 I'd be replicating, as long as it actually looks like a real year, if that makes sense.

Default Nice decals!

Who makes those? You can't put up a picture like that and not reveal your source!

FANTASTIC JOB! I love all the detail you've put into this. Truly inspiring work. I can't wait to see what it all looks like once it's put together.

How did you make those? they are awesome!!! If you make me a set I'll pay you for them!! Seriously!!!

I also saw the pics of the Gold Leaf decals, where did you get those? I had Custom Racing Stickers do the Team Lotus decals for the 1967 Lotus 49, and they came out great!
