F103 front rims will not fit a f104 front end. The front end parts are too tall and the rims will not fully seat on the axle. However, F104 rims fit the F103, being a larger diameter.

You are correct about the F103 rims on a F104 front end.
I Always use the F104 rims/tires on my F103 front end, cause of using these tires i'm almost able to use the full height of the tire. My smallest set of F104 tires has about 2mm foam left on the rim. Gives me the best ride height of 3,2 - 3,4mm, and i can say that the car handles very wel and it's very very fast.
Second positive point is, the bearings are much stronger then the 850 ones that are needed in a F103 rim.

So nice. Looks as good as the new Speedpassion Audi LMP.

Default That's awesome!

I must have that body! It's even cooler than the Protoform Porsche911 GT1/98 (Mulsanne) body. Is there a class somewhere in the world that uses sports prototype bodies on a WGT chassis?

A couple of points about the Rivall LMP body.

It's for WGT, so too short for an F1 chassis. If you still want one it will cost you $84, plus postage.

The Tamiya F1 link type front suspension gives my car less front end grip compared to the standard front end (whether on foams or rubbers). I believe there is too much camber or camber change.

Not any more. We used to run RC10L3Ts with the Mulsanne body about 10 years ago, but 1/10th pan was only revived due to the creation of the new WGT class.

Although the old style full 235mm Pro Ten are still popular in Germany and the Netherlands. Until Speed Passion bring out their new car.

Does someone have experience with these tires or can tell me if F103 wheels will fit on the F104 (v2)?

Thanks
Those would fit the F104W...the W version uses the F103 suspension.

Personally I think that looks better than the Speed Passion one!

Rears fit straight on, exactly the same fitting, but it does make the rear 200mm wide.

It is possible to fit F103 front wheels on an F104, but you have to find some shorter kingpins and remove some spacers, and then you have to lower the inner mounting ball to try and correct the suspension geometry. You will then have a car with a much narrower front than the rear, and will have much less steering angle as the smaller F103 wheels hit the F104 suspension arms.
If you are running F103 tyres it is simpler and better to drive if you just fit F103 front arms on the F104, making it an F104W.

Thank you for all the detailed answers! I don't want to change the front suspension that much, so I let it as it is...

This new WGT body rocks!!!

I talked to Willem at Rivall.nl and was in the process of ordering one of these bodies, until we got to the final bill. It was going to be $84 US to get ONE of these to me in North Carolina. I didn't get it.
While the Rivall body is probably more aerodynamically appropriate for RC, the SpeedPassion body is a VERY close approximation of the Audi R18 Tdi Quattro. As a corner worker for the Petit LeMans and other races, I'm more partial to the SpeedPassion body.
