Hi Mark,
A few years ago I had 50 Aluminum (pan car) & 50 Plastic Adapters (F1 car) made for my own F1 car & WGT Car. for the rear I am using the F10 rear axle setup at this time in a F103. I had to drill out(I used my body Remer) the F103 plates to take the HPI rear bearings.
You can see them in the corners of this photo.

There are more and larger photos in my photo album here: http://lee2763.smugmug.com/

Here is a link to the photos I just took. http://lee2763.smugmug.com/Other/f/2...0393&k=spgS9fL

Nice job! I don't see what holds the hub in the front wheels. Also what width is your front end?

What front suspension arms are you using? They look very period correct!! Are they the F103 arms with chrome monokote?
Thanks Dave!

Ned here is the picture.

The nut (none flange nylon nut) draws tight then I back it off.

Front end width is 7 3/8 187.325 but I know it could go as far down to 180 mm

A little bit off the main topic.
I got this new Indy Series body for the f104, but have not done anything yet since I need to do the decals myself.

Indy Dallara

Any other takers so far?

Sorry, I can't seem to get the link to work?

interesting, but expect adding some weight, that tiny little wing at that speed with that little tiny little air drag area change won't affect anything at all. Maybe 0.5mph of top speed, if the straight is long enough to gain back that acceleration loss.

Default The Age Old Question?

Hi everyone, The Age Old Question? 14mm to 12mm rear hubs & F103, 04, Pro, ..... Front Knuckles & Axles for 12mm Hubs?

I have looked at the 3racing FGX Manual and the Tamiya F104 Manuals.

Hub Adapters? for 14mm rear hubs and std, Tamiya front Axles and bearings? Hubs? Knuckles? Axles? What is the best way to go here.

Its not that hard to make this work.

What Ideas do all of you have?

CAN we get a count on how many we would need?

here are mine (without testing anything) ok.

Make or have them made, 14mm hex hub ID. and a 12mm Hex OD. it should look like a brake disc - the 12mm hex (outer) should be around 4.5mm thick and the 14mm hex pocket (inner)should be 12.192mm deep.

Front Hubs: Ned's Idea The FGX F103GT might or be the best way to go. I have my Hub adapters and yes it take a little to make them fit. but the cost is next to nothing.

So any more Ideas,

Getting a price on having these made.
