A BIG FAT THANK YOU TO RTYPEC? That setup was big time fun. A++

It was a blast running in a heard. Thank you Rod, Steve, Todd, Anthony, and Fred. Just like the old days.

Just looking for some advice from some of the F1 veterans.. Just finished my build on my f104 titanium, installed brand new SP Reventon and MMM 3.0 21.5 motor and have had nothing but issues with the combo, what are some of the recommendations from y'all on ESC's and Motors?

I use novak edge on my cars. I have not had any problems.

Used can be had for $70-80. New price is $96-99.

I use an orion R10pro and a D3.5 in all of my cars. E orion is a smooth as can be. And I live the trinity motors especially when they have the HT rotors.

Hmmmm, interesting day . With no.changes except for the 2012 body set my car went from on rails to not driveable??? As crazy as it sounds I think the extra 8g of wing weight and the wing making more downforce threw it off. Another local had the same issue on bis car so I know it wasn't just me! I ran into this before when I was testing wings a while back with the 3r front wing . So I'm going to try and retrofit the f60 wing and see what happens, if it doesn't work then back to the old faithful f60 bodyset! Glad I didn't decal the 2012!

What kind of issue's are you having. I have been running a reventon club stock for a year with no problems! But that is my experience.

That's funny you say that Marcus. I just used the 2012 body for the first time yesterday. I noticed it had a ton more steering which made the rear really loose. I didn't know the set weighed that much more. I did notice the front wing bends down when you tap a board instead of up like the F60 set. It started causing my car to push through the corners from the wing digging into the carpet. Hopefully I can get the wing sorted because I like this body.

I've always had good luck with SP, love their stuff. I have tried calibrating the ESC over and over and then discovered that one of the prongs where you hook your sensor wire up was half broken off, so I tried to run it without a sensor wire and still could not get the motor to power. Second, the wifi module is HORRIBLE, it won't stay connected and I've tried over and over to properly program it.

I am glad you agree, its hard to imagine that 8g makes that much of a difference but the fact that it is in front of the front axles by nature would make the rear light and it drives like that. And i know for a fact that the wing design creates more downforce, I was having serious issues with it at the end of our long straight and even taking drag brake out still didnt help. The more i talk about it the more I know im going back to the F60!! AND your right this wing bends down and drags where as the older ones have a tendency to bend up.

I will raise the front by 2mm. And also take the old body set to the race next weekend.
