It sounds to me like you are going by full retail pricing on this stuff, send me a PM and I will see how I can help you. A V2 roller with a body should come in a little under $350, and that's with the aluminum motor mount and carbon damper plate, a set of tires and about parts set

I am actually gonna try driving this one, not competitively just for fun, just gotta see it run around a tracků JEFF
Very nice!! I've always liked that car!

I would love it if Tamiya came out with the wedge shaped Lotus 72 in both the red, gold and white Gold leaf colors, and the black and gold JPS colors. That is one of the most famous Lotus F1 cars and has the longest winning history of any F1 car. It both raced and won between 1970 and 1975 and provided Lotus with 2 world driver championships(Rindt and Fittipaldi) and 3 manufacturers titles; all from the same car!!

F1r, with f104 pro chassis, lotus body, 3 sets of wheels an tires, tekin RS, reedy 21.5, servo, Rx etc. turn key, bind and drive brand new chassis ready to go! $450 shipped! Class never took off around here, so I only ran about a pack through it in practice. Add your battery, bind, and drive!

Default Lotus 72?

For you retro fans, I found this beauty on an F1 rc blog from Japan. I think it's a custom Lotus 72 based on one of the bodies available from D-drive sports. It looks like he used the DFV from the Tamiya Tyrrell with a scratch built airbox to add some extra detail to it. I don't read Japanese so I'm just guessing. Unfortunately, I hear they don't do mail order anymore

It looks to be based on a Cross Mclaren M23 body.

Thank you so much Manny for posting that pic of that Lotus 72!! It looks like it might be a Tamiya chassis underneath; definitely 1/10 scale!

Someone should send those pics to Tamiya and ask them to make it!!

That's a cool video. Those Pro 10s look like rockets! Any idea what turn motors they run?
