Nice to see F1's making a comeback. There were alot of F103's and F104's at TAMIYA USA track yesterday getting ready for the Ultimate F1 Day event.

The wheel covers are from Tech racing , and are really for the 103 chassis.
I actually had to use two pair of rear wheel covers for them to fit right.
I cut decals on my vinyl cutter to represent the BBS design.

Default Wheel Covers

Thanks Ekim81

You can get them at D-Drive:
http://d-drivesportsenglish.com/inde...ort=20a&page=3

The problem, in my experience, is that they are a they are a pain to take of and on. They are plastic caps and will have to be glue on the wheels (a bad idea because eventually things glued to a spinning wheel fall off ) or they can be pressure fitted and then you hope they don't pop-out when you speed up or some one hits you

It's one of those "for looks only" propositions, hopefully some one will come up with this type of wheels soon...

Cheers!

Default I just scored from ebay..

They just arrived today in the mail: 1 set front and rear NIP tamiya type A slicks, a F type body, Duratrax delphi body, and duratrax blue and black front/rear wing sets.

Any duratrax guys need the body/wings? I noticed the rear wing will fit the F103. Front wont...

PM me...

edit: looks like my F body is actually 58303, which comes out to the F201 williams body... not sure if i will keep it or not...

Hey guys, I'm looking for some opinions on the current cars out there. I'd appreciate it if you PM me to keep the peace, you know how easily people get offended these days...

I don't really have any thoughts on what car to get except my main requirement is that rubber tires be available for said car so I can run it on not so perfect asphalt, and I'd like it to run modern looking bodies.

I'd just get the F104, but I hear it doesn't have rubber tires available.

Thanks
Chris

There will be rubber tyres for F104. Tamiya will release that at the next hobbyshow in Japan on early October.

The body is a Tamiya Williams Fw24. Made for the F201.

Was released in 2 versions: clear and carbon look.

If you want I've carbon one available...
