Smile Tamiya Ferrari F2012

Hey guys, I just thought Iíd share a few more pics of the Tamiya new Ferrari 2012 car. Iím pretty sure this is just a rough sampling before a final version is produced, so some things may change before the official releaseÖhopefully not too many.

A few things to note, itís my understanding the car will come with white front and rear wings, the dtep down nose is supposed to be molded with the body, not separately, and it may have 8 Pirelli tire stickersÖbut theyíre not 100% sure of that at the moment. And just to confirm what RBF said, yes it will be on the standard F104 chassis.

I know this isnít F1 relatedÖbut I know a few of you that run F1 also run the RM01 1/12 scale car. Here are a couple of pics of the new one coming soon.

Has anyone here tested the different wing options and bodies for the f104/f1r chassis? Any one setup better then the next? Currently I have a standard f104 pro wing set and body. I'm unsure if any of the other wings perform any better or worse, same with that of the bodies..

Some people have fitted F104 bodies on the FGX...but they just don't look quite right from what I have seen so far.

Sad. I've been wanting to do a Kimi 2012 car since getting my FGX.

Back to being Kimi on my xbox.

How can that step nose be more aerodynamic on real f1 cars? I think it's a fad that will go away next season.

Its not an aerodynamic design its a safety design implemented by the FIA. Its not a step factored into the rules but a nose height. Most of the F1 teams just put the step on there, McLaren and Marussia were the ones that did not. FIA is allowing a cone to cover the steps next season, so yes you will not see them again, but they will still be there.
