front will still be 200 with either wheel. Have to change to F104 front end to get 180. I did it to a 109 a while back

Thanks, know that already, my mistake, didn't make it known in the first post.
Appreciate the advice anyway.

Please share Your pictures, the body looks fantastic and stickers look very thin almost like painted. Any tips and tricks for applying those decals? I have the same stickers and I'm going to build Kimmi's Lotus body for my V2...

BP SHADOW: Don't You think about adding red areas for the front and rear wing to this sticker sheet? It could help less experienced and less skillful modelers (like I am).
Anyway it is a great sticker sheet!

i will post some soon.

the red for the wings can be bought from the hobbystore, red vinyl for airplanes. i just use spraypaint...

and use a light solution of soapy water for the decals, not something heavy like windex or simple green!

So someone is finally doing a premounted rubber F1 tire?

Great Mike, I'm looking forward!
Tried that airplane vinyl, white was OK but red was a bit translucent don't know why...
I'm affraid that if I use the spraypaint it will be scratched soon. Especially front wing is exposed but maybe I'll try it.
So if I use soap water I can correct the sticker position? The side lines or nose stickers must be a challenge if I wanna make it clean seeing all those perfect bodies here...

go on amazon and buy some adhesive back vinyl, you get packs with every color for like $11. This is perfect for wings as it is more durable than most stickers.

I've seen the pics of MKennedy's car and it's SICK!!!! The entire ride is dialed in for the Lotus livery. Truly a great example of what you can do if you put your mind to it. Thanks for stepping it up. Post up them pics man...

@ RBF - regarding the premounted Ride tires...wasn't there a problem with the wheel size fitting the F104 front end at IIC in Vegas? I thought the ride height had to be set at a certain setting to get the wheels to fit and some people were grinding the king pins and inside of the wheel. Do you remember?

That is correct
The I.D of the RIDE wheels limits ride height options
They might work well outdoors where we run more RH

Hi,

Getting close to finishing my F104 v2, would like to add some tire decals (maybe one set of 'show' tires).
I would like Pirelli P-Zero like current F1:

What are the best quality?

Are they just for show?

Can you use them for racing, do they last long?

I just got some of the UF1 stickers(from exotek..but think TQ has them) and they seem to be very good quality and should be tough, and stick really well...I think they are a little for show for sure and will only last as long as you dont roll or scrape the barriers.
