Wow those look great. I really want my next F1 body to look as good as yours, I went cheap with my fitrst one cause I thought I'd thrash it racing. But I love the detail and I am thinking about painting my driver.

Question- Are the drivers details painted on the outside of the body? What kind of paint do I use for the drivers suit, seat belt, and steering wheel / dashboard? Any tips?

Credit due to the guy that came up with the sheets.
I really like the pliable nature of the decals - it wraps to contours really well. I'm also a hater of extra "clear space" outside the printed area. These decals give me better control on the trimmed area. It was weird that a set of the "Pirelli" and tire sidewall marks were more transparent the the other 3. It's why only 1 side of the car was photographed.

Both wings are 3Racing. I wanted a different look from the MP4-24 or the F60. It's not as scale looking as the Tamiya wings - but they hold up pretty good against damage.
Yes there was a short run of sheets where one of the Pirelli logos did not get backed with white the way it was supposed to.
Glad you like the decals, a lot of work went into them, and it is rewarding to hear that you had a positive experience with them.

Yet another stellar performance from the RCShox FQ01 chassis this past sunday at the Texas EOS series round 2! Q1 and Q4, track record and win! I was the only to run 29laps and my teammate made one mistake that knocked him from Q2 to Q4 he was also on a 29lap pace!
91 entries 22 in F1 this was the largest electric onroad event in TX in about 10 years!

The drivers in my cars are a combination of inside / outside paint. For the MGP W02 - the white race suit was painted from the inside along with the final coat to cover the entire body (white). The belts and harness lock was painted outside with static model paint. I wanted to get the effect of Alcantara for the driving gloves - so I used a flat paint. I use an ultra fine Sharpie for crease lines.

Is the sharpie / crease line on the outside or inside. I seen drifters say both, I recently got drift / tc body that had it started on the outside, so I finished it. Mine looks ok but I didn't have the ultra fine sharpie, yours looks great, especially in the pictures on the previous page. And thanks for the quick answers about the paint.

I apply the Sharpie lines on the outside. If I goof it - a little bit of rubbing alcohol removes mistakes w/o clouding the lexan.

F104v.2 almost no question. Word is the FGX will be illegal. I have not seen or heard of the TOP car results yet but it may be a good option if you run the F104 front with it.

FGX is not legal at IIC... Direct Drive only...
But you should still consider getting one... The IRS chassis is much more scale... and easier to drive on parking lot tracks...

About to order f1 paintlab Ferrari 2012 sticker sheet and does it come with the white stickers that go on the front and rear wing as cant tell from the sticker sheet.

Also if I wanted the tamiya square wing mirrors from the McLaren I think it is...what parts tree do they come on?
