OK, 90% done. I still have to paint the cockpit and helmet but I had to post up some pics. My interpretation of a modern Jordan. I think Iíll change a couple of things on the next one, but this one is a runner.

Bitchin dude!!!
The only thing I would say is blackout the sidepod winglets, and carry the black over to the cockpit
I will do a bit of photoshopping and post em
Otherwise another top shelf job, I need to get mine together, I am thinking of going way retro, like obscurely retro
Of course with a twist

Default WOW!

[QUOTE=Vyger;6193031]OK, 90% done...

Vyger what a car!

Is this one to run with the FORMULA TUNED MOTOR 37T?

What would your pinion selection be for beginners like me racing a F103R powerd by the formula tuned using a 93T stock gear at the Tamiya track?

Cheers!

People were running as tall as 30t - 32t pinion and still able to have low motor temps.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words. This one was definitely a learning experience/challenge. But I learned a lot for the next one, like the B&H stickers that go on the side pods. Those where sort of tricky to say the least.

Iíve picked up F1 sticker sheets over the last ten years from all sorts of places domestically and overseas. I have used the sheets from D-drive and theyíre done well, but, they donít have a proactive layer on the surface so you have to be careful of scratching them. Thatís the case for the three sheets of theirs that Iíve used so far. D-drive does make this sticker sheet but I used one I picked up in Japan back in 2000

Thanks again, Iíll post up more pics when I get it all done.

How about rear tire diameter? I suppose a bigger diameter and a 30T pinion should make a good combo for speed/aderance. What do you think?

Cheers!

Just wanted to give a heads up, if anyone needs paintwork done for the Ultimate F1 race, contact me soon, like in the next few days. I have a couple of cars to finish up and then I am open, but I will need time to get stuff done and shipped in time for the race. That is if anyone is interested

I wanted to get some feedback from the guys on the thread.
I am working on putting together some kits to aid you guys in finishing out your cars.
These kits would include paint masks to do the complicated areas that are difficult to do by hand, precut vinyl in the correct colors to wrap the wings, precut vinyl stripes for the stuff that is too fine to paint. In addition I was considering including printed reference for each car
What do you guys think?
Is it something you would be interested in?
I would of course still offer paint services, just thought it might be a good option for some
Hey BP, I think this is a great idea. There are a few bodies Iíd like to do but Iím reluctant just because of all the tapingÖlike the FerrariÖJK

Iím just curious what paint schemes do you have in mind and what bodies will you be focusing on (Tamiya, TRG, HPI...)?

BP Shadows F1 vinyl mask idea
Awesome idea, the nose and the air intakes above the helmet are very difficult. I did a Williams and the lines in the nose didn't come out well. I'd love to do a Renault but the air intake and other areas scare me
