Thanks, but I need tires for the F103 rims. The numbers you mentioned are for the F104.

So, does anyone know the difference between the PS-0545 and PS-0549 rear tires?

It's a bit hard to explain, but this thread which discusses the tires/rims explains it better.

Thank you for pointing out the Ride/Shimizu thread. I would have posted my question there if I had known of it.

After reading through the thread, it appears that the 1-compound (545) has better grip than the 3-compound (549), at the expense of more dust and marble pickup. The 1-compound tires also come with a thinner insert than the 3-compound tires, so it may be worthwhile to try the thinner insert in the 3-compound tires to see if this adds grip.

Aero-prototyping you say?....
My 140WGP.. but with 104 front end, R-Sector 190mm kit, and MP4/6 bodyshell... It's not decked out for concourse, and the paint job was a ratlle can (the Prost also attached is the show shell!!) but boy does it steer at high speed...

My raceweary F103RM was drawing criticism from a real F1 scale looks racing buddy of mine so I went and 1-upped him. Got to love the classics!
