AAWWHHHH...the infamous Freddy-Flick...I remember that move. I suppose I have it comin.

I'm really looking forward to it. I have to admit it's tough, I keep thinking about a mutual friend that use to sit to my right. I know I've got baggage...something I have to deal with. But never the less, the thought is always there. That's the truth...or the JD talkin....

The Flickster said he'd cruise over and help me get the electronics set up. As soon as that happens I'm going...I'll let you know, and hopefully you can be there to chuckle over the maiden voyage and my embarrassing return.

Nothin but love buddy!

I had promised months ago id post pics of the last rendition of my aero updates when i had my car back. Well, now i have it so here they are

black intake scoop, made with some mesh from a laptop

rear skirted diffuser

I cut the strakes out as i saw they caused flow separation. Though in hindsight the middle ones shouldnt have been cut off.

And my fav, the front diffuser V3. Its much lower and shallower than before. The prefious one was stalling bad, so making it lower and shallower improved efficiency (to the point of having to make the rear diffuser to keep the reaar even more planted at speed.

Sorry if the images look weird, i used a filter so it would show all the details under the bad lighting

Looking to try F1 to try around in the street on those days the off road track is closed.

Can anyone recommend a good starter car? Was looking through the forums and found this.

Tamiya F201 Tuned Chassis 4WD F1 Limited Blue Edition

Do most use 21.5 motors for F1? I may plan on racing a bit later, so was wondering what would be a good racing F1 to start with.

It's a great car, but not too much support as far as parts, these days.. I'd go with a new Sakura FGX and beef up the front arms or F104X1 or version 2, because it's pretty close to running great out of the box with many option parts.

I'm planning on selling a F104 Pro since I hardly drive it these days. Everything on it runs great, Tamiya Superstock brushed motor with Tamiya esc and FM transmitter.. If you're interested PM me..

I think it would be considered legal to race in the f1 class, I narrowed it down to 180mm width and rear wheel drive only. The car is near completion, and my initial testing of the drive ability is promising.
Be sure to inform us how the RWD F201 works, I'm looking to start a similar project

I am selling two F1 cars. One is for racing and one is not. The F201 is a limited edition 4WD (yes, you hear it right) F1 but it cannot join any race due to it's drivetrain configuration, unless you take out the drive shaft and make it a RWD. The Blue Edition is limited only to this kit and you'll not be able to find anywhere else. The standard F201 is grey if you upgrade from regular version.

The F104PRO is a race car. Lightweight and RWD and is race-ready as long as you have the correct tire combo, which I already included a few for testing out.

If you're not racing, the F201 is an easier car to drive around and the suspension is realistic to real F1. But if you intend to race, then get the F104PRO, which is quicker but a bit harder to drive for beginner.

Most of the F1 series not run 21.5 brushless motor without ESC timing.

Hope this helps.

Will do! I've only driven it on my slippery concrete parking lot in my apt complex, and needless to say, it spins out alot more than when it was 4WD

Unfortunately I won't be able to try it out for a couple weeks since I'll be on a cruise... I guess it'll just have to wait for now

Another option is the 3Racing F109. They cost about the same as an FGX.

I use 2s shorty lipo position at the back when grip is medium to low and forward when grip is high.
