Can you even tell you have the counterweight?

I have to assume it locks the rear end down more. The weird thing is I can't really tell a difference on rubber tires, but if you run the counterweight on a foam tire car there is an immediate difference, and it makes the car feel weird, like maybe there's too much weight back there. Adding a steel axle always locks in a foam tire car - though it can make the car "stuck in the mud", so I assume more weight is going to help on rubber.

To actually power one of those RC cars rather than provide weight so they don't get blown off the shelf !
Yes, I paid attention to all those "shelf queen" comments poor Vyger gets ( although probably deserved....Sorry Dude....you can't hide all those pretty things when you're always providing pictures )

I was looking at this, does it have a replacable reciever?
That car in your link is a 1/12 scale, rather than a 1/10 scale which is what you are viewing in this thread.

Thats what you get when your infamous ! I've been around here for awhile but spent most of my time with touring cars. I've now come to my senses and realized all the really cool people race F1 !! Seriously though, you've pretty much been 1 of the big voices for rc f1. I consider it an honor to join the ranks of your many friendly antagonists.

I like the counterweight for outdoors, not sure its a good carpet hop up. I took it off at the Chicago TCS race, and the car felt much better. I ran it at the Nats last year and had the best driving F1 car I have ever had out there. The thing to keep in mind is that its not a one size fits all, its not going to fix a bad car at every track, I think its more of a fine tuning part.
