Hey man for me it's priceless advice!

You guys cheered me up to go ahead and build the kit. I just order the metal mounts for the motor and will start putting it together as soon as I have them.

Cheers!

glad to be of some help bro. get that kit together and enjoy racing it!

Why are people running the soft t-bar? low grip?
My rear is too stuck with the stock t-bar, on asphalt.

Default work bench table top cover...

I was occasionally losing site of small parts on my workbench table. I have seen pics of measured sheets (laminated) that many build their cars on... any info where I can pick one up would be appreciated. Are they drafting sheets???

Thanks

F104 body sets are available on eBay (sweet) and one seller claims the F104 body set will work with the F201 chassis. Not do discredit that seller, because I hope he is right, but do you think that would work? Seems the F104 would be narrower due to the longitudinal battery layout, versus the lateral arrangement of the F201. What do you guys think?

Amazing work on the cars everyone. It seems there is an F1 renaissance taking place right now. Keep up the outstanding work - here is a tiny picture of my F201 in its Schumacher livery -

I have been working on fitting IP 5000 lipos in the car. The problem I am having is with the ECS & RX trays. The parts that protrude at the top and bottom on the post on the inside are getting in the way. I have filed them down at an angle and have not left much and I am still needing about 2mm to make a good fit. I am thinking if I cut away the inside portion of the circular portion that goes on the post and then find some flat washers with the inside diameter to fit over the posts and glue them at the top and bottom of the tray, this would eliminate any obstruction on the inside of the battery compartment. I would think that CA should work to attach them together. Any thoughts or input on this idea?

Hey! Have you guys seen the lineup for the Ultimate F1 series race? Lot's of fast people and plenty of brands attending ( Corally, MLP, HPI, Hyperdrive, Tamiya's, Alpha's) including a full option Duratrax being built that will make it's bid for fame. It's in the california racing section, check it out.

it will probably fit the 201 if you don't put the side pods on.... Then it will be wide enough
