Hey All, working on something for our club but for the life of me I can't seem to find the answer to this question.
Is there ANY difference between the F60 and the Mclaren kits part #s 58447 and 58475 ??
For some reason I keep seeing subtle differences in descriptions with different retailers.

The chassis are identical, right down to the tires

No problem, glad to help.
The FW34 is in the next group I am doing.
It is going to be Sauber, Williams, RedBull, and McLaren
That would make 9 of the 12 teams .
Don't think I am going to waste the energy on the HRT though

Hey guys, I am looking for the BMW Williams decal set like the Tamiya F201s had. Does anyone know of any place I would be able to get a hold of a set or two of these? Ive checked around most of the sites on here, but haven't found what ive been looking for.
Thanks

EDIT
I see above that BP is working on a set now....

So what's in the box...at first glance, not much. But after a closer look the parts included are top notch, as usual.

Here are a couple of pics, sorry I don't have more, I've been dealing with a bout of food poisoning from a birthday get together.

The car uses the same links and pillow balls as the 1/12 RM01 chassis. I used blue aluminum screws to secure the pillow balls. Basically because I didn't have any titanium screws in the size needed. Tamiya hasn't released a Ti-crew kit yet, so I used what I had.

Note, the car can be set up to accept a short lipo pack. However, you will need to countersink the two holes already provided.

The two screws below closest to the center are the two that need to be countersunk if you want to mount your battery back towards the rear of the car. The battery stop is supplied and lines up perfectly to the holes.

The assembled RM01 aluminum motor mount.

The F104VirII uses new diff plates, for this car. Tamiya has redesigned the diff hub to utilize the 417 diff rings. The rest of the diff assembles with standard F104 parts.

Below is a pic of the roll springs. Be careful to tap the 3x10 screw straight as it goes threw the body mount plate. Also use care when putting the spring retainer on straight.

The kit includes the fluorine coated balls for the entire chassis. Nice touch

And that's all for now. Sorry there's isn't more, I know there should be...but I can't stay out of the restroom....sorry

I wonder how the F104X1 compares to the V2 on rubber tires.
