From 3racing site:
"Rubber Tires
Ride Japan*
No. 24005 Front - Medium
No.24006 Front - Hard
No. 24007 Rear Med
No. 24008 Front Super Soft
No. 24009 Front Soft
No. 24010 Rear Super Soft
"
pit fit the ride rims and tamiya foam rims
could it be that the pit fit the FGX rims?

I have not tested...

I just switched over to the 571/572 combo on my 104, and man what a difference.

Honestly, on rubber tires, how big is the difference between the 103 and 104? On our track, not much, if any. FGX is actually a bit slower than both. Equal driver.
As far as scale, yes I see the point with mixing bodies. I'm one of the clowns that sometimes runs a wide body on a narrow car. I like the old bodies. They don't look bad on a narrow car. Narrow body on wide car looks a bit odd. Let's just race, sort it out when there is enough to do so.
Just to dive in on this point... I'm at the TITC now, and to be competitive in F1, with no width rule, you have to run a wide front... end of, it is flat out faster. This is control wheel/tyre (Ride Rim, H1 compounds F and R, Ride insert), and originally I had been using the stock 104 front-end on my X1. Looking at all the other fast guys in the pits (TRG's, Yeah Racing's etc), they are all running the wide (200mm) front. Since putting the 103 front end on my car, it's just flat out faster, with more steering and more stability... win/win.

Oh, and so far, at least the fastest 8 cars are non-IRS, but all wide.. something in that me thinks

Regards
Ed

The 571/572 combo has been working fairly well. It was all I had ever used apart from type b tamiya foams so I thought that is as much as you can get out of traction. However last night I switched to 571/575. The car was so easy and fast to drive. Suddenly consistent laps were easy. In fact I was 0.8s faster in a single lap.

My car felt really balanced on them, plenty of turn in and rear grip without any setup change
I have 50 sets coming in, probably 25 of each car. If people want to preorder I can get a list going, and if the intial 50 sets are spoken for I will up the order
The compounds, in fact the tyres are the same on both. The main difference is the FGX rim is bigger internal diameter than the stock FGX, so the tyres fit both fine.
I've run on these as well as part of the SGP1 series, a good control tyre... especially as we only get one set for the day!
IMO, the feel is similar, but not the same, to that of the tamiya tyres.

So you're saying the wide cars are faster ?
Wow, that is some news there

Thanks for sharing your findings

Parts from this car to fit that car, aftermarket chassis so this car's parts fit that car and on and on.
So much for the kit car to go racing with.
Now it takes the Frankenstein car to be competitive as well as 2 full sets of tires to make one set you can use.
Oh well, guess it still costs money to go fast.

I wanna see what the magic 571 and 572 Pits will do for this FGX car.
Somebody get me some rims to fit these.
It doesn't cost much money to have fun. Some people just want to buy a kit car, build it, and run it. Will they be competitive? Probably not. At least not for long. The people that spend the most time, effort, and money into their cars and learning how to tune and drive them are to going to be the most competitive. It's going to cost money to have a shot at winning. If you just want to race and don't care if you come in 1st or last, money doesn't really matter all that much.

I wanted to try and get them in place for the carpet nats, but the timing didnt work out. By the way how about a throwback to 1991?

Will be available in the paintlab store in the next few days.
And.... I can guarantee you there will be a huge buzz about the next release

You know the FGX front hubs fit on a 104 front end, right? So you could use an FGX set..
