What motors and tires are those? I heard tire noise from the one car when it spun at the end of the straight. Our cars don't make any tire noise at all.

hmm... What are you guys using for sauce? We are on Ozite with Pit tires and most of us use paragon.

I've done one for the F104 and another for the FXG susing Tamiya PS 59 Dark Metallic Blue backed with black and I think it looks the goods.

Ok ,thanks, I will search for that one.

Did you use their standard yellow for the nosecone and air intake ?

Just started on the FGX build tonight and really enjoying it !!
A shame that I need to sleep , otherwise I'd keep on motoring along with it.

To be perfectly honest, I dont really care if it turns out slower than the f104s , it just looks fantastic and that's what I'm interested in more.- form over function !!

if you got fast gear set, it wont be slower. Its well matched.

Lucky dog, I wish I could get PS59, it would cut at least an hour out of the time it takes to paint a RedBull . We have had big issues getting Tamiya paint here in the states because of the recertification with the EPA. And yes the standard yellow for the globes

No problems there, I'm installing a sensorless HW 13T system , which we run in our Tamiya mini class. I think most guys have their throttle epa dialled down anyway, since they are fairly quick .
