The F104 is easely converted to the 200MM
I did and it drives the same as a F103.
The F109 is also 200MM.
The HPI can also be converted
For the F104 it is at the rear just the switching of the tires from F104 to F103.
At the front it is just the suspension arms.
Foam or rubber?
If you want to bring a bit of scale back then only allow F103 rubber as they are smaller then the foams.
There is a wide enough range of rubber tires that is usable and work.
The pancar type tires are just a no no on F1.
Bloody ugly and give to much of a advantage over the original F1 tires.
This just my opinion and would allow more cars to compete with one another.

FGX, F201, etc are all welcome whenever we run club races. Most important is to run, play and get newcomers interested. And for oldtimers to relax and have fun playing with rc again. Benchracing on forums might just scare away newcomers.

FGX is better than PanF1 is better than F103 (200mm) is better than F104(180mm). We are all getting crazy. Peace guys.

Default 104 X1 upgrade parts on a 103

Since I clearly can't let my F103 die I installed some of the the F104 X1 upgrade parts on the 103 pod allowing for use of the new side damper and pod parts. Just need some time to test next weekend

We're really gonna need to find a way to keep the F103 alive.
Maybe starting up a thread for locals to try to get a few together now and then.

Sounds like a plan.

I may also throw the 104 running gear on it and give it a try in the next UF1 Realistic class next round of the series.

Default Whoa

Awesome setup Madjack. I'm gonna try that on mine. I'm still running your F103, and it's still awesome.
