Would like to see that rear end in more detail.
Can't tell if it is one piece, or if 2 piece how it pivots.
Would be good if they have sussed out how to make a one piece chassis as it will stop the rear wing pivoting which causes many handling problems with F1 style cars.

I zoomed in on the photo-hard to tell but I think it is a pivotball/monoball by the screws and the faint line in photo. I highlighted in red.

That is what I thought too, but I don't see how they have the side links ?

The two sets of outer screws may be for super short links??

I just sent WRC an email to ask them how the rear end works on that F1 car.

If I get an answer I will post it here.

Also, I noticed that the USA is not anywhere on their list of countries that they sell to. I asked them about that too.

Stay tuned.

The plot thickens as they list this as "F-One - 1:8"

And what is with the shiny bar just in front of the rear wing ?

The shiny bar is the rear pod brace...pretty much every pan car has a brace of some sort these days that connects both sides of the pod. The more dull looking bar is the axle...looks like possibly an aluminum axle given the color...either way it is a metal axle of some sort.

NiMo, you have good eyes; I never noticed that it is 1/8 scale!

So much for fitting any of Tamiyas' bodies on it.

Anyway, it probably doesn't matter as I don't think they are going to sell it here in the USA. They only list Europe for distributors.

Think their web site is a little out.
They list it as 1:8
LiPo compartment looks closer to 1:10
And the wheels they list for F-one is 1:10

And then looking at their 1:8 Lola style car which is also listed as 1:8 it does look much bigger than the F-one car.

So I think it is actually a 1:10 scale F1

(yes I'm confused too)

Wow! My head is spinning!! Not sure what to make of all that. You may be right; maybe it is actually 1/10

I haven't heard back from WRC yet. I may try emailing them again this weekend.

Would be nice to see a 1/8th electric F1 using 1/10th electronics. Ah, one can dream though...

Just got a response from them.
It's 1/10 scale.
Gonna be available in the next 15 days through their site.
Retail around 280 euros = or $395
Let's hope it won't cost that much.
Next few days they will be updating the website with requested better pics.

So street price might be $275 which might be fair for a race ready kit. Unique platform for sure!
