Shadow, for some reason the pictures and link to that TRG bumper for the Lotus 79 have been removed from the thread "Tamiya F104 Pro"

So the link to it is: rc-trg.com/f104w-b.html
Check it out, it's worth it.

I went to your website and I'm surprised you haven't posted the pics of your Lotus 79 on your "Finished Projects" page. Hope you do soon.

Thanks for visiting the site, they will get posted, I got them late last night from my photographer and wanted to get them on here and my Facebook page first. I have a lot of balls in the air at the moment, so things aren't happening at the pace I would like to see them, but hopefully everything will fall into place soon.

Understood.

Anyway, check out that TRG bumper at the link I posted previously. It will allow you to race that beautiful Lotus 79 while not ruining it's looks.

Shadow, regarding your Lotus 79; you mentioned that the front body mount is on the front suspension. Would you please post some pics showing how you did that? I like the fact that you don't see a body post sticking through that beautiful body!

I checked out the JPS decals from Decal Island, and I assume that you mix them with the ones supplied by Tamiya to complete the look as the Olympus decals and one number 5 and most of the pinstriping are not included in the Decal Island set. Correct?

I think it would be cool to take some scrap lexan or some other flexible clear plastic and make a tinted visor for Andrettis' helmet. Not sure how to attach it though.

Its the way it comes in the kit, it still comes through the body, just instead of mounting to the front wing/bumper it slots into the nut pocket for the front screw of the front suspension.
Yes I used the kit decals along with the Decal Island sheet, cant imagine this car without the right logos on it

If you keep up those comments, my head won't fit in the forums (lol). But thanks for your kind words, the cars do come out well, but my photographers (DISH in this instance) deserve a chunk of the credit, they take my hard work and bring them to life, not by retouching mind you, just great lighting and camera angles among other things.

Will the tamiya wings and bodies fit the new Corally F1?

Just put the RS Pro in it today to hopefully get a bit more speed on my local track. I run a NiMH setup with medium tyres and i find i have PLENTY of traction on my track. Ive tried softs, but find mediums to work the best. We have our state titles coming up in a few weeks time so i'm all set for that. Hopefully a few of the parts i ordered will be here in time.

Hi guys, I just ordered a 3R F1-09... my first RC F1 car since the F201 days. I'm sure if I did enough searching I would find a definite answer, but do the Protoform F1 bodies fit the F1-09 nicely? ...or any of the Tamiya bodies for that matter? I'm not crazy about the 3R body. Can't wait to get building and post pics of whatever livery I wind up doing!

I didn't try it myself, but I've seen some. Yes they fit, but you have to cut them out slightly differently as F109 is longer than F103. You'll might also need different front wing for better seat in front
