One more question, do guys use any special paint to change the colors on the rear wing? Mine came navy blue and looking to get the McLaren Honda paint job of Ayrton Senna

Lewis Hamilton finished higher than both Ferrari drivers in the 2009 championship! Therefore, the McLaren MP4-24 performed better than the Ferrari F60! Mclaren also finished with 71 points to Ferrari's 70!

yes, the mclaren's did get a couple of wins against only one for Kimi in a Ferrari. Massa's incident in Hungary did help in the points race for Mclaren.....but the real reason Ferrari is better comes down to car colour.....red cars are always faster then any other colour.

tamiya does make flouro red TS paint to paint the wings, but I've tracked down via ebay vinyl Fluro red decal to try instead of paint. When I get the decal I'll post pictures

Not to mention that after winning the Drivers Championship in 2007 Raikonnen had pretty much given up (or at least it seemed like it)

guys, need some advice...

i recently bought from a garage sale a Tamiya Tyrrell 019 Ford body set. it was mint in box but the decals seems to have lost some of its adhesive grip.

some have partially lifted off the body despite the fact the body was properly cleaned prior to decal placement. i havent lost any decals yet since the loose bits i secured with low-tack 3M magic tape for the time being and the body has not seen any track time.

does anyone know of any product i can use on the decals to restore its adhesive grip?

thanks in advance

What about wood glue diluted with water?

Hmmmm.

Not sure it would be flexible enough once dried, but might be worth a shot?

If you don't have clean bearings, good transmission and a perfect car, trust me when I say this...someone else does.

You might try spray mount, however, you will probably have to remove the decal, spray it and reapply it. You have to be careful with spray mount because it can go places where you don't want it to go (i.e. don't spray on a windy day).

I wouldn't try to remove the decal, I would get the spray mount spray a liberal amount into a jar or container, and then thin it down with rubber cement thinner. Then use a small brush to apply to the areas that are lifting.

Just wanted to add some pics of my HPI Super F1 to the mix. Nothing special, just dyed the front and rear wings, kept pretty simple. I have another Carbon / Fiberglass one, that will be built as a nice runner - this on is staying on the shelf. I'll add pics of the runner once I get through with it.

Is there a hobby shop in the US that sells rubber tires for the F103??

It seems that I can only find rubber tires for the F103 from HK. but their shipping takes about 2 or 3 weeks and I just would like to try them before that

Any help will be apreciated!
