I think this was the fasting growing thread in history, it was a page long in like 10 minutes!

Futureal is right, the more we reply, the happier it makes him, and he feeds off of that, but come on, you can't tell me you can take a comment like with a grain of salt and keep walking. It brings a tear to my eye just thinking about how 'patriotic' we were.

As for that dudes degree...you go to hell for lying

What I think is funny is he went through all the pages of info just to become a member when he could have seen this is not a "real car forum" (as he put it) as a guest. I just think he wanted to piss some people off. I don't know about the rest of you guys but my r/c car is very real, I mean I can pick it up in my hands, its there.

That's exactly what trolls do, they're only happy if they tick off as many people as they can. When you lose your cool, they win because they got the attention they're obviously lacking in the outside world. that's why ignoring them is the best policy, hence the saying "Don't feed the trolls"....

the morning after!
i think that it was good that we can stick together and get rid of people like him but i think it could have been locked so no one could reply to this thread.
with such a jerke they will never be able to turn it around.
especially with such negative feed back from us.
lol,he said it was a cold place but i feel it is one of the warmest places.
as long as you stay on the right side of people!

I really think a better approach would have been to try and convince him that it was a worthwhile hobby rather than insult him until he left the board.

I for one was a bit sceptical about why 'grown men would play with toy cars', that was before I tried it

uhh..i tot we ARE playing with toys?
toy ( P ) Pronunciation Key (toi)
n.
An object for children to play with.
Something of little importance; a trifle.
An amusement; a pastime: thought of the business as a toy.

where i come from every 'outsider' calls the cars as toys..of course then they get separated immediately as downlookers.

Yeah, it probably set a new world record. The Spectator got suspended in less than a day, that has to be a world record as well.

I was always under the impression that if you used TOOLS to MAINTAIN something that automatically elevated it beyond toy status. Those who don't participate believe we all hang out at Radio Shack working on things called Shredder or Turbo Outlaw Extreme Buggy. We should forgive them for their ignorance, but that guy was just an A--hole.

Hobby quality R/C vehicles certainly are not toys, i'd like to see an 8 year old attempt to build a Serpent 950 .

R/C Toy: Tyco Super G-Force Mega Nemesis with ultra boost button.

I remember one time I was in my LHS getting some parts and this guy cam in with his 9 year old son, and his sons t-maxx that he got for christmas, and I just remember the words he said "So this really is a hobby not a toy, huh" and the guy that was helping just looked at him with a "no duh" stare. I almost started laughing.
