TheSpectator: It surprises me to hear you criticizing us for a hobby involving racing scale models, when I look to "your site" as you put it -- who knows who you really are, since you were afraid to use the same name here that you use there -- and found discussions about computer games, video games, die cast models, and good number of other topics that shouldn't be considered any more "useful" to the real world than R/C cars are.

Coming here and insulting our hobby is about the most ignorant thing you could do.

The only reason I am leaving this open is to see if you can hopefully turn it around. It boggles the mind how you can call us "snobs" when your first few posts were about how dumb we were. Sheesh.

Guys, the best policy against people like this is just to ignore them. The more you insult or bait them, the more you will get this kind of result: a spam attack against the forum. Luckily, I happened to be here so I could do something about it, but that isn't always the case.

Next time, just laugh at him quietly and watch him make an idiot of himself. Guys like him can do a good enough job of that by themselves.

I will be contacting the administrators of this other forum, as well as sending a transcript of this entire exchange to this guy's ISP. I doubt anything will happen, but you never know. We do what we can.
