Default Super Stock or Budget Modified?

I've got to get a new 19T motor.

Would a Super Stock 19T or a budget modified be better?

Bearing in mind the Modified is £20 (Peak Griffin)
And the super stock is £34 (Corally Black Series)

Which would be better performance, by how much and is the £14 difference worth it?
And ill be racing on a quite tight carpet track but also on tarmac streets most of the time.

Please reply, the shop closes in an hour
Thanks.
