Default New 17-19T Motor

Hi, im looking for a new motor, had to take my old 15 double out because of thermal problems. I need to get either a 17 or 19 turn motor preferably a single but a double i wouldn't mind. I've heard a lot of 17 or 19 turn motors are faster than 15T's depending on what type they are.

Just need your advice on what i've got to look out for. About laydown brushes and the like, what difference do they make? Any suggestions of what motor to get?

Any help will be appreicated,
Thanks

I use a Reedy Quad Mag 19T Spec motor and I like it. Good powerful motor.

Limerick91, I donīt know if you like more brushed motors, but with 70 - 90 bucks you can buy a brushless esc & motor from hobbywing that are slightly better than a 17-19 t brushed motor.

I've just come back from racing and a kind man has given me a 19T motor

it's a Peak Racing Dynasty 19T Spec Motor but i believe it is the 05' version not the V2 one. (I think :S) Well, it is the one with a green spiral bit on the end (laughing at my own lack of knowledge).

Any help as to the specs of this or any info will be greatly appeciated, thanks
