speed passion 1.1 GT esc with a 2.5 motor
Has any one had any luck with the Speed Passion GT 1.1 esc running the 2.5 brushless on road? , The instructions say that you can run this at a FDR of 11.5 to 12.5 but for me, this has never happened.
I have one in my 2006 t2 with a FDR of 13.44545 and it still thermals on me, I have the timing retarded to the 1 position on the motor and the settings for the esc are set for a slow take off. With that it will get a 6 to 7 minute run on 5 x 4600 sub c’s but gets flogged by a 4.5 brushless????????????
