with a lipo your supposed to get 30% longer out of them... I think a 3200 would be fine.. but you most likely need a full charge almost after a run.. not just a 10min re-peak.

James
repeaks are the one bad thing of lipos as far as time to repeak goes. There are no such thing as 10 minute repeaks with lipos lol. CC/CV charging drops the current as the pack starts reaching max capacity, thus increasing time to top it off. Its not a big deal though because the maintenance-free aspect makes up for that imo.

Lipos also have a better chemistry resulting no-memory and better energy density than NIMH, thus more efficient per MaH. A 3200 lipo is probably equivalent to a 4200 NIMH as far as runtime goes so even a 3200 would run a 5-6 minute mod race just fine. My 3600 would lose about...2300-2400mAh in a 6 minute heat, but im brushless which is also more efficient per energy used than a brushed motor. Mod brushed with lipo would probably run the battery down like 2800-3000 mAh due to the efficiency variances.

regardless, its all good!

p.s
my mod was a mamba sidewinder 5700

i have 2 of those and they perform great for a what i paid for it.

it's slower when compared to SMCs though. but that's acceptable since SMCs cost 4~5 times more than the Yeah Racing Lipos here.

I got a pack with my ABC Genetic and this batts goes great.I'm running a Graupner speed500E with it and get always top performance for nearly 20 minutes without any power loss, great for the price compared to another 3200mAh 35C pack i've from Kokam that punches real strong but costs me 70% more, don't need that much in stock class .

Rc-mart seems like a good place.. just have to wait to get it from HK.

Orions are around me.. 2400s are cheap.. but the 3200s are $105 here.. so 2 packs of 3200 yeah from Rc-mart at $70 is a deal in my book.

Thanks Dan, but I would assume your free shipping would not apply to Ontario Canada.

I have to figure out what my duty on importing batteries is, I understand I have to pay duty as well as taxes.. love govnt

I have 2 sets of 3200's, both have been fantastic! I've used them in offroad, onroad, and even my Brushless E-revo. I'm still stumped as to why PPl still resist and say, "Why dont you spend $40 more on a name XXX brand pack". These are now getting the ROAR stamp of approval, it was only a matter of time. Heck, all lipo's are coming from China anyway, and then a decal is quickly stuck on, so there's absolutely no guarantee your expensive lipo pack will be any better than the inexpensive ones. I've already had one of my $90 Orion lipo battery crap out on me.
