the front bar "whatever its called" reminds me of lynx.

which brings me to my next question, can it be repaired?

if so where do I get the parts?

I looked around quite a bit for that front bar assembly and couldnt find anything, could I convert it over to a associated rc10 type setup?

any help on any avenue would be great.

aww your being hard on it, when its all done "if I can get it fixed" it will be pretty sweet.

I plan to fix up the whole chassis, new springs, shocks, clean up the chassis, paint it, etc...

Personalyl... buy a new sheet of Graphite.. cut the chassis out but not the front end and then get the parts for the Front end off a old 10L and cut the holes for it.

Send these pics to hyperdrive....Barry has some of those chassis and front ends at the shop I believe. The car is one of the very first hyperdrive cars. Not sure of the model number though.

there is a guy TAZ S who collects vintage pan cars. he posts on the 1/10pan car thread in "oval,larger scales and more" either he or one of the other guys there can positivly identify that car.

That's my L2 and its still available for sale. you might as well make me an offer. Its definatly cheaper then trying to find parts to rebuilt that thing.

I'm pretty sure that is a Hyperdrive LX. It was a very good car, back in the day.

Jimmy is right... I would buy a used one and that way you have spares for it.

yeah just checked out the hyperdrive site and couldnt find a newer kit for under $300, most over $400

must be a pretty good brand, thats way more then my tc3

seems like its worth hanging onto if the company is that great.
