yeh and no weddings or all-niters to inhibit your presence or ability to race

no I'm not complaining but I was wondering why so late in the season. most pavement onroad nats were usually scheduled in june or july. was it decided that being more towards the end of the season would be more like the carpet onroad nats which is in march at the end of carpet season?

also being this late in the season would be hard for school aged out of town racers to make the race. curious to know if this was taken into consideration.

I was also wondering this. I am in the ninth grade and hoping to go to the nats, but now i can't miss school to go to them.

I too was hoping that The C may ask for a date move. Being many racer's fade away from asphalt and look toward rug racing come august. I too would have to leave my son(another entry) at home for his school if this date was kept.

Plus, the current date is the same as my girlfriend's birthday...and although I've been given the "Okay" to race, you know I'll still be in the doghouse if I'm at the track and not with the lady

Either way though, I'm in

If you look at the whole ROAR schedule they have a national just about every month. With 4 nitro nationals 1/5, 1/10 and 1/8 onroad, with off road gas that kinds limit the electic racers. Trying to squeeze these during the summer ( summer vacations/etc ) would not be in the best interests of the racers. I'm glad the dates are out so people can make plans for them.
The C has an advantage that it is indoors and the weather is not an issue. The C has great lighting, AC, as smooth as any track in the world, a projector that is one one of the walls that is about 15x15 feet so everyone can see it, good pit spaces, plenty of parking and the local racers believe in having fun first and winning the race second. Just ask anyone who has raced there and had the bad luck to pit near me...

Nash, see me at the birds and I'll give you the lowdown on how you can make the C main....

TAG, you're been there so Teach and you ought to have a heck of a race....
