We have 2 hobby people's...eh Great if you want off brand monster truck parts.
A hobbytown that had good people but not super stocked on car racing stuff.
Twice as Nice sells used stuff, but is focused on airplanes.
Dansey's I haven't been to since they moved, but was never stocked well on electric on road in the past.
Southern California has some great shops though...

Next Friday (Oct-3rd) we're having a race in the parking lot at Hobbytown Sahara & Decatur location. People setup around 5pm and they start racing between 6 & 7. Depending on turnout, the races can continue to midnight or later. The last race was the most crouded I've ever seen it, with as many spectators as racers. Classes include 27T stock-sedan (novice, sportsman & expert), Nitro sedan (mostly expert), minis (18th & 24th scale), gearbox (anything off-road), future-champs (anything for little kids), and sometimes drift exibition between rounds...

You can look for me and my firends if you swing by. We're in Sportsman class and we're the only guys running Tamiya & Kyosho sedans...

I'll be I Las Vegas from saturday 4 (thanks to countless hour changes I start the same day in Italy.......)
So I'll miss the race, kinda shame fo rme. It would have be interesting to see...
