Ta05 IFS-R Newbie question
Just got a new IFS-R, it's my first kit and I have a maybe trivial doubt:
Mounting the dampers, I noticed that with the specified settings of the spring retainer, the spring is loose. Is that normal or I made some mistake?
thx in advance

That's normal with linear rate springs. Even my 1:1 scale Honda's springs do that when I jack the car off the ground. What matters is the cars ride height. Once it's fully loaded you should use a ride height gauge to set the ride height equal all around. How each individual spring seat is positioned really depends on your electronics layout and battery. None of them will be the same.
Ideally you want to balance the car from right to left with weights, then set ride height, then alignment, then tweak. But all that requires even more tools...

This R to L balancing, is it more important than worrying about a 1600g+ car? I have to add over 50g of weight on the left side since the batt is so far away from the center.
