fast is what you put in it electronics wise. You can get an rtr with everything but that probably wouldn't be as fast as one you build and put a mod motor in with all hop ups and stuff. But if you want rtr the 4-tec is suppossed to be pretty fast out of the box.

There are no fast cars, just fast drivers.

The speedo will not really effect the bottom end any. The bottom end is pretty much all in the motor you are running, gearing and batteries.

Its not about which car is faster, its more about how durable the car is, ease of setup, availability of spare parts, and how competative the chassis is around the track.

You can ask 10 drivers their top 3 choices, and you will get 10 different set of answers in different orders. I would personally choose:

Schumacher Mission 2 (comes out in a month or two)
Corally Assasin (brand new, hard to get a hold of)
Losi XXX-s

mtx3driver - Do you race? If you have no intention of racing you can just get the novak brushless, I finally saw one in action last weekend, it screeeeams! For your curent setup check your motor and batt's are in good condition and that your gearing correctely.

do you plan to race?if not and you just want a fast car look at the Team Associated 10L3 touring. its a 190mm pan car that is designed to run sedan bodies. it will whip past even the fatest TC's with just a stock or mild modified motor. its extremly light, direct drive, and very durable. you wont break complicated steering and suspension arms every time you bump into something

i realize its illeagal for sedan class, but like you say some clubs will let you do it. and if all your looking for is a fast , low maitainence parking lot racer you cant beat it.like i said all you need is a stock motor and its already balistic, put a mod in and its unreal how fast it is
