Question about one-ways

For belted cars, what would be the difference between running a center one way or a front one way.

Don't they accomplish the same thing?

They are not the same. A front 1 way will be a solid axle on power, and let the front wheels free-wheel independent of each other off power. A center one way allows more tuning options. for instance, you can run a front solid with a center one way, and get almost the same effect, only the wheels are tied together off power.

these days you really dont see center one ways too much, mostly either a front 1 way or something else(solid or diff)
