tb02 LT WT is legal.

didn't find much advantage going to lt wt. I did bend over 20 inner hinge pins So I took it off for our track. as its not so car friendly.

Westerdude. I was planning on going tonight, but something else came up.

Ray, the x mt is 1mm lower than those in the TB cars, and .5 deg less toe than the (a) block. There are now XA XB XC XD which each drop another .5 deg per side in toe!

So I guess to answer your question, it all depends on how decent of a setup you can get under the car.

I am pretty sure the X mount is a 415 mount.
LW arms no good on carpet?? I got spanked at TCS worlds by a 415 with the LW arms. Stupid me didn't even bring my LW arm set to Japan. The mabuchi class was mroe of the same - the winner was a TB02 with the LW arms.

Wow-I was taught that a suspension system must both be rigid and as light as possible with as little friction (stiction) to work its best. I guess this sort of disproves some of that-at least in RC cars.

The standard caster blocks are like bricks to move up and down and the arms are heavy. But its all coool-the standard suspension is tough!!

Hey rey Mark here. I dont think that the lw suspension is bad on carpet like a lot of people say. I tried some of the components on my evo3 and didn't really notice to much difference, however I didn't really experiment enought with some of the set up options. The only thing that makes people say that it's no good on carpet is that it is more fragile than the old suspension. I just barely toched a flapper and broke a hub carrier.

See from the people I talked to I had heard that the LW arms scrubbed off a lot of speed on carpet but after seeing Muk-Luk's car with them on it I have put them on my car now and plan on testing them on asphalt at the very least. It just goes to show you that you shouldn't be afraid of change or experimentation.

Next thing you know will be Gary putting MAYO on his cheese sandwitches.

Which version did you get? Some of them come with A's, while others come with vinyl tires like the TL-01's come with.
