Tom ... i doubt there's any weight savings with the chassis braces (b/c they'll be using small alum. posts to make up the height difference.

there will be weight savings with the LW suspension. how much? im not sure. i havent weighed it yet.

so who has one of these cars? kevin M? mayo boy.. oh i mean Gary? i know john C. has two already (one for silver, one for black can)

hehehe we TAOB'ers just love to stir up controversy.

Nope, I don't have one. Debating whether I'm going to just convert my last Evo 3 over with the R parts or just buy the R...Depends on which way is cheaper. For around $180-200 though for oil shocks, alum suspension mounts, extra diff parts, etc I am leaning towards just getting an R.

Mayo Boy? Et Tu Lim? That's ok, you just gave me good ammunition

Yay, I got a teammate! I remember Ling not believing how much hop-ups I bought for this silly car at R10. (Actually, there was nothing at R10 to buy, but the urge was there to just give away my money man, so many miles and you get to an almost empty store... )

I'll bring it at TA one of these Sat practice... but beware, it might make you a true believer!

Default TT-01 vs TB-02

Your missing the adjustable front upper arms. So do you have the ball diff and oneway?

Anyone get an R yet. Still wondering if they come with universals.

Talking

Tom... those are the adjustable ones. The sways are just on the way of the turnbuckles... Got both ball diff and one way too... dunno why, I'm not even going to race this thing... Okay, enough of this car, can you see it's photoshopped?

Back to our scheduled TB02R programming...

Default TB-02 or TT-01???

Here's the deal. My bro got me a Tamiya M-04L for Christmas and after much research and consideration, I think I'll go ahead and buy a new car despite my wife's threat that she'll get a Dooney & Burke handbag(sp? I don't know what the hell it is but it sounds expensive) if I get a new car. While I like the M-04L, I wanted to do some drifiting so I'll have to go 4WD.

My question is, which should I get? A TB-02 that can be upgraded with many TB EVO III parts if my compulsiveness takes over me, or should I get the less expensive TT-01 that still has alot of parts available to it?

On another site, someone mentioned that the TB-02 has problems with the gears stripping. Others have told me that the TB-02 is far superior. I've read that the TT-01 is more durable. Conflicting stories, so many choices. What do you experts think?

I probably won't be doing any serious racing anytime soon since the LHS only has a dirt oval. This new car is for my enjoyment only and if I get into a residency program in a city that has a nice track, I'll definitely try to race.

Thanks for the help.
