I haven't seen the box, but if it says that then there is no arguement. That's all I've been saying all along though. Although just saying "TA-04 option parts" Is kinda vague.

Izzy,

Car looks good! With all this talk of the SS arms I would be interested to see the difference in wheel base between your 04 and the TB02? Did you get he one way to work with that oh so flexy chassis

Have not tried the one way yet! Something to do this Saturday.
It looks like it even has a shorter wheelbase than the TA04 when all the spacers are positioned apart and the same as using regular arms when the spacers are placed inward. You can probably fit a regular body if you go with this setup, if they allow it. I'm just basing my observation in relation to the Tamiya bodies.

I have been testing the one-way & 24' with little luck (hooks off power)Thinking that the 2 diff will be the way the run this "flexy flyer" chassis until a stiffer version is released...or it will end up as a GT3 car

The only small draw back is that the motor mount only allows for preset motor and gearing. IE the motor doesn't have infinate adjustability. the mounting screws go through holes not a slot.

DZ. I almost made a mistake when I built my TB02. make sure that the pin in the driveline in in the correct hole for the spur gear. It is pretty sloppy if it is in the wrong hole.
Thank you tamiyaracer~!

Anyway, I raced my TB-02 (against SDs and Baracudas) here at the Fort last nite and landed 4th in the Bmain... Bad setup, bad driving skills , and its my first ever race on on-road We used stock motors only.

currently stripping down the other Evo to build my 02... and it does say right on the box "compatible parts: TB Evolution III and TA04 option parts plus a wide range of racing tires"... not that i have a TCS race anywhere near me, but maybe someday i may travel again...

does anyone run other types of spurs/pinions? im not fond of the stock gears, and the Evo spur adapter fits fine... just couldnt figure the spacing. i think 64p might be a mistake, seeing the flexiblity of the motor mount...

Same here. I think the 64 pitch might be a gamble. I thought it would be too much to figure out spur pinion combo on other pitch gears also. Plus I already have all but 1 set of pinions of the metric 06 and they are not far from the 48 pitch. Will last longer too.

I am going to get the alum motor mount motor holes milled out so I can adjust with at least 48 pitch. I agree with he 64 pitch. The chassis might flex to much for it. I hope TAMIYA comes out with hop up chassis~!

Does the EVO III alum mount fit? Need to try.
