I know some people use the metal one-way gear from the Evo IV, but for sure the bevel gear isn't compatible, but I'm not sure about the diff gear...

The diff gear works, it's a lot stronger than the old gear.

Do you guys think that the TB-02R is competitive with the TC4 Team Kit? Yes, I know it depends on the driver, but if the same driver were to drive both of them, with the same elctronics, which would be faster? Or would they be on par?

The TB-02R is around the same price as the TC4 Team kit though. Then why would anyone buy the TB-02R, wouldn't they just all go straight to the TC4 Team Kit?

They just discontinued the 27 tooth pinion. Now it won't even work for TCS.

So the only reason for people buying TB-02Rs is for TCS races...

Wes, whatchu talkin about. If its discontinued, that doesn't disqualify someone from using it. Besides there are other companies that make pinions, and pinions of other mfr's are allowed.
