Hello everyone,

I been searching for a while now on a good gearing setup for my tt-01.

I use it as a basher on the street and am VERY new to RCs. I want very good speed and acceleration. I have Komodo Dragon 19pro.

This is what I'm working with as far as spur and pinion options:
Spur 61T or 58T
Pinion 22T, 24T, 25T

What combo would give me the best performance?

Sorry for the noob question, but I just can't figure it out.

Stay with the 61 spur and no more than a 22 pinion. Anything else will run the motor too hot

OK thanks. I did run 25T/58T today and it seems slower. I thought that this gearing should make the car faster, or is it slower because of the motor I'm using?

But will go to 22T/61T setup.
